The Thannerstrasse apartments are located in Basel’s Gotthelf district – one of the city’s smallest residential areas. The neighborhood is best known for its distinctive architecture and low traffic. Most traffic flows around the district, leaving the streets of Gotthelf calm and quiet. Despite this, the district is incredibly central, with Basel SBB railway station and the city center about a 20-minute walk away. By public transport, these destinations can be reached in just 3–5 minutes. The Gotthelf district is home to many delicious bakeries, fine restaurants, and both small and large grocery stores. The nearby Schützenmattpark serves as a local recreational area with excellent playgrounds for children, plenty of seating, and a large lawn.
