The St. Alban district is often described as the most prestigious neighborhood in Basel, which is evident in its many green spaces. The public Gellertgut Park and the green area near the St. Alban Gate provide plenty of opportunities for relaxation within the district. In addition, St. Alban is close to the large St. Jakob Park (with sports and shopping facilities) as well as the idyllic recreational area “Park im Grünen.” This area offers vast green spaces with diverse flora and fauna, large water landscapes, and various leisure options such as mini golf and playgrounds.
